Beam for Music was created from a clear and urgent realization: music creators and publishers often lose part of the value they generate because the systems meant to protect them are fragmented and outdated.
After more than fifteen years navigating the music industry — from Mixcloud to Capitol Records, independant publishers and Universal Publishing — our founder Thomas Zandrowicz experienced firsthand how difficult it was to get a fair and transparent view of one’s own royalties.
When he discovered that one of his works had been used without any payment, he decided to act.

 That decision was the spark that started Beam for Music.
